Mumme Tools started in South Australia during the Great Depression of 1936 when the late Bill Mumme began forging copper soldering irons. The product became a required item by the Australian Department of Defence in World War Two, where it saw production significantly increase.
Since then, Mumme Tools have expanded their product range to over 300 items. With many of them made locally in South Australia by expert craftspeople.
The challenge was to bring new life to the brand and better align it's image with the quality and reputation that's known in the field.
